Pros-prices ok, customer service person was available within a decent timeframe.
Cons-accuracy of delivery timeframes when items are out of stock. Read below
I Placed order online. I then got an email a day later telling me that 2 out of the 4 items I purchased were out of stock (website showed in stock at time of purchase). I called and spoke to person who said that those 2 items would take 2-3 weeks to arrive back in stock and they would not charge my CC or ship anything until all items were in stock. I told him I was going out of town in 5 days and would not be home for a week and I was concerned that my items might come in stock in a week and ship while I was gone. The person assured me that they would not arrive that soon and I would be back home well before they would arrive back in stock and ship. I got back from my trip to find my items were shipped to my house 3 days after I left (about 8 days after I spoke to the customer service person-not the 2-3 weeks he originaly told me). Luckily I had a good neighbor who noticed the package sitting on my driveway by my garage door (yes-the lazy UPS guy didn't even walk it up to my front door-going to call UPS and complain)and kept it safe for me until I returned. So I was a little ticked off about that, but luckily it turned out for me ok. So that person I spoke to was full of $@%!
Would I purchase from them again-I don't know-maybe, but only if items were in stock. In hindsight I should have not trusted what that person told me and just canceled my order right then and there-then I could have re-ordered when I got back. And to those who read this and wonder why I ordered this if I knew I was going out of town in 5 days. My answer is this-this place is in Northboork, Il (Chicago NW suburb) and I live by Joliet, Illinois (Chicago SW suburb), so shipping at the most would not be more than 2 days. I later looked up the shipping date and delivery time. It arrived one day after it shipped. So the delivery time was what I expected, but again it was delivered while I was out of town and not what I was told. Poor marks for customer service and followthrough.
