Pros:Well, it's a roof over your head.
Cons:Shoddy blankets, rude help, undrinkable coffee, no a/c.
The Bottom Line: Avoid--the quality has disintegrated.
I've stayed at several Hampton Inns over the years, and been generally pleased. However, my last stay (in October) will be my last ever. A thin blanket with a disgusting texture, a non-smoking room that stank of smoke, and air conditioning that didn't work. The tub was questionable as well--the cleaning staff must have a low morale. Upon checkout, the general manager refused (extremely rudely) to accept the validity of the tax-exempt status the reservations had been made under. Upon hearing our complaints, she continued her rudeness. When I complained through the Hampton Inn website, I received a call from the Hampton Inn General Manager of the hotel, berating me for daring to find anything at fault.
