we have two of the new native slings and are still using them. i found them to be very easy to use for the first 6 months of our daughter's life. easy to tote (just rolls up and stuffs into the diaper bag), easy to nurse in, easy to shift the baby around in. the only gripe i have is that it became uncomfortable to use as my daughter neared 20 lbs. we still use our new native slings for quick errands and always keep one in the diaper bag just in case we need one. at home, i've switched to using the over the shoulder baby holder, which has padding and seems a little more secure for carrying a bigger, squirmier kid.
