Very Nice Advice.... (Reply to this comment)

You covered a lot of ground and deserve the MH for sure.
My uncle does many motorcycle trips in Europe (he has a Honda Transalp which is an enduro/comfort bike that has almost no sport, but mixes touring, comfort and decent off or bad road capability). He has gone to placed like Greece, Turkey amongst others. It's pretty awesome to see the pics, but as much as I like to drive very very fast (credit spending too much time in Italy), I am intimidated by bikes.
As my uncle said, you have to plan out even short trips carefully because 1 hour on a bike is like 2 or more in a car, especially in bad conditions so a 2-3 hour ride can really make you very fatigued.
Thanks for the comment on my Alfa 164, though heavier, FWD and obscenely powerful that car is radically different from the Giulietta spyder....
Kudos

Even though I am just a passenger, these are great tips. Can't wait to get our bike out this year. Just been way too chilly and rainy here yet.
