Every one has written something about Summer Vacation at some time in their lives, perhaps even more than once! As summer fast approaches, even though I no longer have the entire summer off (…sigh…) as I once did years ago, there are still fond memories and long weekend trips already in the works. Every summer as a kid, I spent out in California and there were traditions that were always upheld- going to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and visits to Yosemite National Park. As an adult, there seems to be more time for work and less time for play in the summer, but it's still nice to dream, perhaps even plan ahead for weekend trips and family activities. As a salute to summer and those who have their summers off, I propose a toast (of sorts) in true Epinions fashion- a Write-Off, of course. Share a favorite summer movie, a favorite for pleasure summer reading, a great summer vacation spot, hotel or attraction, even the best self-tanning cream.
