I haven't had too much experience with the C400 Latitude model... but seriously, you don't need a ultra high powered model for medical school. Trust me... I didn't need a high powered computer at all through medical school. I'll give you an email this week.

I am trying to get up the courage to write a review on our new IBM laptop :)

Anyway...perhaps you will e-mail me..I am looking for a computer for my daughter's graduation and I know she is a Dell fan. I can spend up to $3000. I think she wants small and a lot of memory. I did some research at the Dell site and came up with the Dell Latitude C400 and with every (almost) gizmo including printer/scanner, case, etc. it is $2725. Maybe you have reviewed that computer but I'd love to know what you think. She is, hopefully, going to med school so having a good computer that is super portable is what she wants. Thanks..jo
