The Bottom Line Show your pride and support your gay, lesbian and bisexual friends and family by taking part in the 2007 Gay Pride Write-Off!

You may or may not know, but June is Gay Pride Month. It’s the month that the majority of pride celebrations are held (unless you’re in the southwest where they usually have them earlier so people don’t melt in the streets) and it’s a great time to explore and learn about gay life, whether or not you’re gay or lesbian.

That’s what Epinions’ annual Gay Pride Month Write-Off is all about! It’s a chance to explore and learn about gay life while expanding the lesbian, gay and bisexual resources here on Epinions.

There’s actually a ton of items in the database and of course, if you have something that isn’t already here on Epinions, you can always request that your category lead go ahead and add it to the database.

There are books and movies (we’ve even found some more risqué ones), gay retailers and service providers and if all else fails, there’s always the Writer’s Corner where you can write about your own personal experiences and stories. That’s actually been the location where some of the most powerful Gay Pride Month Write-Off entries have been found in the past since someone’s personal story can be so powerful.

So no matter what you review, take part and join the celebration this June!

And please, don't think you need to be an LGB person in order to take part. This write-off is open to anyone who wants to express their pride or who wants to support gay, lesbian and bisexual friends and/or family.

Just send me an email with a link to your review or leave a comment here with the link and I will go ahead and add your review to the write-off.

Please also add a short blurb at the end of your review or make note of the w/o in the title of your review. It will help make others aware of the write-off.

And perhaps I’ll see you at Boston’s Pride Parade!
