This was one of two movies my husband rented yesterday, for our viewing “pleasure, ” both bombs in my opinion.
General Synopsis and Gags
This movie starts out with a bunch of white folks, featuring Andy Richter, as a Catholic Priest, singing a song, using the “N” word. We next see a parody of The Exorcist, with Regan urinating in the doorway, her mother mentioning she hasn’t been feeling well lately. The next scene, we see an older priest sitting on the toilet, very pleased with his projectile bowel movement. We move on to see Regan in bed, head spinning, yelling out “F* me!” The elder priest complies and we see him mounting her in bed. At this point, I leave the room and my husband tells me to come back in, he is the Catholic in the family and should be offended, rather than me, he says.
Have I grossed you out yet, or should I continue?
Movie/Theme Parodies
This movie goes from bad to worse. But then again, you might like this type of humor. This movie parodies the movies of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; The Exorcist; House on Haunted Hill; Charlie’s Angels; Chucky; Weakest Link; Harry Pothead, er Harry Potter; and probably more that I have never heard of. This is supposed to be a parody on horror films. Unless you disliked some of the above entertainment, some aren't scary genre.
More objectionable material includes one black actor’s 10’ long male organ, a filthy mouthed parrot, that continually refers to his male organ and a clown, who resembles Chucky.
Actors/Characters
Tori Spelling does a good job playing a typical, average girl. There is a brief appearance by Richard Moll (Night Court) playing the ghost. Chris Elliott (Groundhog Day) did a good job playing the part of a butler, with a deformed hand, which he uses in conjunction with the food, to totally disgust the guests. There is also a physically challenged individual, having a bad hair day, who insists on dragging his wheelchair up the stairway, only to fall back down again. Marlon Wayans plays Shorty and Shawn Wayans plays Ray. There are a lot of other assorted actors and actresses I have never seen before.
Special Effects
I didn't really pay special attention to the special effects. I tend to pay more attention to the special effects that seem pleasureable rather than offensive. That can't be true always, of course, but I didn't pay attention to whether the vomit and urine, etc. seemed believable.

I tried to find the soundtrack for this film on Amazon, but the closest I came was for the first movie, Scary Movie.
Conclusion
This movie of 83 too long minutes, was directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans (creator of the TV series, In Living Color,) and written by Shawn and Marlon Wayans, among 11 other writers. I learned to like In Living Color rather late in the series, and totally enjoyed the spoof they did during the Super Bowl several years ago. David Grier, In Living Color, is one of my favorite personalities. I am not sure if he was invited to partake in this debacle, but he probably had better sense.
I heard the outtakes on the DVD version were better than the movie. See this only if you like gross, sophomoric humor. Perhaps this movie was meant for teens (sorry, teens, if I offended you.)
