and lusted
and envied
even in death
charlatans and impostors
fought for and
wanted her body
a beautiful and
fair maiden of old
chosen as a sacrifice
to the gods
the modern gods
of sex and lust
the god of lucre
and greed
the god of paparazzis
and scandal-hungry media
and bored public wanting
excitement of lowest nature
for Nicole is Eve's of Eden
worse vision come true
of a woman violated
of a woman turned to
a symbol of worldly
lust and degradation.
