Tunica! (Reply to this comment)

We lived in Arkansas, near Memphis for about 3 years and we made regular trips down to Tunica during our stay. While we never stayed at the Gold Strike, we've eaten many meals at that awesome buffet and lost some money in their casinos! Excellent review!

Thanks, Tom.
Trust me, you would not recognize the place!

It's a good thing they didn't have the casinos there when I was at Ole Miss. I never would have graduated! I had enough distractions as it was.

Take care,
Pam

Have Not been to Tunica in Years....... (Reply to this comment)
by tombarnes
I remember, not that long ago, passing through Tunica on my way to Memphis from Ole Miss. There was almost nothing there. It really has changed. My brother once had the, um, experience, of playing with a band at Sam's Town for two weeks with a band he was once with a few years ago. Let's just say that the "help" did not get to stay in the hotel!! Will have to go back some time to see the new hotels there. Your review certainly brought this one to life! Thanks for another great review. Tom Barnes
