There handles are insulated in a blue rubber just like all of their other pliers to help protect you against electrical shock. There are grooves with sharp edges that will help you strip wires from 10 to 22 gauge wiring. There are also round holes that will allow you to put different sixe small bolts or screws inside of them and trim them off if they are too long. The sizes include 4-40, 5-40, 6-32, 8-32, 10-32, and 10-24, you may not know that is what these holes are for but they have come in very handy when all you have is an extra long bolt lying ar4ound to replace a short one with. This pair of strippers can also crimp the ends on wires that are 7 and 8 mm thick wires.

Experience
I have used these for several years and found them to be sufficient when it comes to using them in a pinch. There are better strippers out there but these are probably the cheapest and the thinnest that you will be able to find. For only fifteen dollars they will help you do all of your electrical needs and even some of your cable needs. These are very easy to use even if you do not know what the exact size of the wire that you are trying to strip is.
