Pros:Easy Credit.  Free Loan if you pay-off during allotted time.  Good to have handy.
Cons:High interest rate and penalty fees.  Possible Deferred interest.  Long wait when calling customer service.
The Bottom Line: If you can pay off the balance during the promotion period, get CareCredit. If you're on a fixed or low income, this could be a debt trap.

Well, I've had it for about a year. I don't worry about the high interest rate, because I pay my balance off, monthly. Ithas to do with the way I was raised.  I was taught to never borrow money needlessly; however, if you must borrow, you should pay it off--quickly.  I think it is a good thing to have handy--Just in case of an emergency.

My major complaint is the ridiculously long wait when you call customer service.  I called yesterday and was on hold for just under 30 mins.  However, when I FINALLY got a customer rep, he sounded American, to me.  He addressed my problem.  Time will tell if the problem was remedied, because he is suppose to be sending me something in the mail.--We'll see.

In summary, I say if you know how to manage a credit card, this is a great thing.  However, if you do not know how to manage your finances (hint: check the balances on your other credit cards and loans and compare it to your income--debt-to-income ratio) you should avoid this card or else you will end up like the majority of folks on this discussion board--crying that they keep adding fees and the interest keep piling up--because that is what happens on revolving credit--not just CareCredit--any credit card.
