Before you can fully appreciate the Audible experience there are a few phrases to familiarize yourself with. Don't worry about memorizing them all at once. A bit of repetition, of which you will have ample opportunity, and you will have perfect command of the phraseology. As you familiarize yourself with the Audible experience you will soon become comfortable enough to come up with your own variations on the theme.
Ready? Let's begin, repeat after me:
Why is Audible so slow? Does it have to be so slow?Is it always so slow?How much longer?It can't get any slower-it just did.What's the matter with this stupid site! Three hours five minutes remaining? It's been that for an hour!Can't someone figure out how to speed it up? Did all parts of the download make it? I'm going to pull out my hair! Seven years as an avid Audible listener have left me an expert in Audible frustration. I am now fluent in all dialects of Audiblespeak. I have the pronunciation, nuances, vocabulary and intonation of this intuitive form of communication mastered. I have stuck it out to become such an expert because the selection is amazingly thorough, the quality of the product is just about perfect and the site is easy to maneuver through. The availability of such a phenomenal library is intoxicating. I love Audible I hate Audible, you will too.
