Like 3 months a go I bought a webcam and began using in the yahoo chatrooms. Yahoo chatrooms offer a lot of freedom to chat about many different subjects. I have made friends with many people already and they are nice. I can chat and see people with my webcam. I preferred it over AOL or MSN because it's easier to use it with the Webcam. It's a good thing to enjoy the freedom it gives but also you have to be careful because there are a lot of weirdos out there. For example, one of the things you can do with it is to look for another member's profile. Sometimes I enter into the adult section to chat with women and some guys who I presummed know I am a male send me requests to see my webcam. All the time I have to ignore and block those users. Also I enjoy the ease to have conversations with persons in many other chat rooms. Overall I believe yahoo chat is a very good piece of communication tool but the user needs to be careful whom he/she gives access to see his/her profile. But it's up to the users, communication tools are for most part what you made of them. Another good thing I like is that when I usually format my hard disk and restore my computer program yahoo chat allows me to retained my friend's list. I recommend it to any interested in chatting.
