I had been visiting web sites checking stock on a camera. The camera had been out of stock at most sites, for over a month. This day Adorama did not show out of stock. I contacted them to see if they really had them. A pleasant salesperson put me on hold for a few minutes, then assured me they did.
I did not order immediately..I called back and was told they had some on the dock, and I would most likely be able to get one. Since the story was different than the one give 10 minutes before I took a deep breath, then ordered. I had not ordered from Adorama before, so I was a bit apprehensive.
Positives: 1) The next day I did receive an email confirming shipment. 2) Two days later the camera arrived, in good condition. 3) They did not try to push extra stuff 4) Sales reps were courteous and (as it turned out) accurate. They did not try to rush the call through.
Negatives 1) I tried to contact the sales reps email and extension trying to determine if I could get the package deal ...I never received a call or email back. I purchased the that were in the package (extra battery, memory card etc) locally.
