Pros: Cleans extremely well.
Cons: I can't stand the smell!
The Bottom Line: Simple Green needs a new formula for a more pleasant smell. If you are real sensitive to strong cleaners, don't use Simple Green.

Simple Green
I was introduced to Simple Green about 6 years ago, a cleaning lady had an old stove soaking with Simple Green. I ask her, "mercy what is that smell?" She said, "a product called Simple Green." I ask her, "well, where did you buy this product?" She said, "in the automotive department at Wal-Mart."
I have never cared for the smell of Simple Green, this product can really open up my sinuses. When I do use Simple Green, I make sure I have plenty of ventilation, or a fan running.
I have noticed that Simple Green really cleans extremely well, and it works better if I let the product soak for at least 30 minutes.
Simple Green is suppose to be non-toxic, but you couldn't prove it by me by its smell. I know from experience that this product can get my eyes to burning and watering without the proper ventilation. Simple Green is also suppose to be biodegradable.
One can use Simple Green full strength, or it can be diluted with water.
Dilution ratio for:
1) Heavy Cleaning: Use full strength
For cleaning:
Grills, ovens, vents, range hoods, floor wax removal, engines, tires, tools, wheels, grease and oil stains, and soot and latex paint clean up.
Dilution ratio for:
2) Medium Cleaning: 1 oz. Simple Green to 1 cup of water.
For cleaning:
Stove-tops, counters, refrigerators, sinks, showers, tubs, tile, toilets, decks, fiberglass, canvas, paint preparation, and sports equipment.
Dilution ratio for:
3) Light Cleaning: 1 oz. Simple Green to 4 cups of water.
For Cleaning:
Floors, (vinyl, tile, wood, terrazzo), painted surfaces, marble, stainless steel, chrome, plastics, cabinets, window blinds, color fast carpets and fabrics.
4) Laundry: Washing machine: add 1/4 cup of Simple Green to water. Use up to 1/2 the suggested amount of laundry detergent.
Spots and stains: Wet fabric with water. Spray full strength Simple Green on spot or stain, then rinse and wash.
I can't imagine washing my clothes with Simple Green. I don't like Simple Greens smell and I sure don't want my clothes smelling like Simple Green.
If you are real sensitive to cleaners like Simple Green, I recommend only using this product outside where there is plenty of air, or don't use at all.
Always keep this product out of the little ones reach, and avoid eye contact.

New Year!
