ATT UVERSE SERVICE SUCKS!
here are my issues: ATT UVERSE signal is constantly slow and freezes repeatedly. when this occurs all of my ATT services (UVERSE200 TV, PHONE LINE, and INTERNET) go down and loose all connection to their network. the freezes usually last between 5-15 minutes and occur 2-3 times every hour, if not more. i found this out by trying to use my homeline to contact customer care and then trying online. once the freeze was over all services were reestablished to normal.
Tech Support cannot figure out the problem and I do not blame tech 1 or 2 phone support nor do I blame actual technicians who come out to my residence. Its hard enough being a call center agent or having to visit peoples homes. The basic principle is that this service does not work well in my area. i have a handful of shows that i have recorded that caputure the problem, shows like PPV UFC which have timers, preseason baseball games, basketball games, movies. for example, you can't be watching a recorded UFC fight and help but to wonder how did my DVR go from the first round to the final minutes of the 5th round? or watching a baseball game from the 1st inning and all of a sudden picking it up in the bottom of the 4th? this isnt only allocated to sports either, I watch CSI and SOUTHLAND and have the same issues.
And as other forums state I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I reside in LA and this problem is occurring in other parts of the city, state, and country. my thoughts on this are if AT&T is willing to introduce its products into a big market like LA it needs to be supported correctly, it also needs to admit its flaws and people need to be fairly warned before subscribing. I've had other providers like Direct TV and Comcast and never has this problem.
