Why EVERYONE should get a Seat Belt Comforter

Aug 22 '07

The Bottom Line You should get one of these, especially if your seatbelt is uncomfortable to begin with.

I read a review here a few months ago about a young woman who was in a fairly serious car accident. She was the driver. She looked down and noticed that there was blood everywhere. She went to the hospital and got checked. She then discovered that she had a huge cut running from her left shoulder down to her belly. It wasn't deep enough that it required stitches, but it did take a while for it to heal, and it was very painful.

After reading that, I decided to purchase the Allison X-Gear Seat Belt Comforter in gray at Amazon.com. It costs $7.49 at regular price plus shipping and handling. I found it on sale, and it still is on sale as of now.

I'm petite and thin and my seat belt in my compact car fits me alright, but once in a while it does tighten up and I feel like I'm choking. In my fiancee's car, the seat belt hurts so bad. So, when we are in his car, I use the Allison X-Gear Seat Belt Comforter. I also bought one for my mother who has a Suzuki and she is also petite and it just makes driving more comfortable.

This also prevents rubbing and chafing, especially during the summer if you are wearing thinner shirts or a bathing suit.

Recently, I had to take a long trip to St. Petersburg in my sisters minivan. I couldn't get over how uncomfortable and painful her seatbelts were. I might have been better off not wearing one, you never know! But I sure wish that I already had the Allison X-Gear Seat Belt Comforter

Allison X-Gear Seat Belt Comforter is made up of comfortable neoprene padding. It opens and closes by simple velcro. It is used on the vehicle's shoulder seat belt. It is 15 inches long, about an inch and half thick, and about 3 inches wide.

It is also recommended for placing on luggage straps, backpacks, or laptop bags.
