The Natural Mind is a book that is written by Dr. Andrew Weil. it is a book that is basically about drugs, specifically marijuana. it explains different aspects of the drug and the different reactions that people have to it.

The main thing that the book touches on is the fact of set and setting. this describes the aspects of when people use marijuana. a big part of the book is around this concept. it explains it into much detail. the set is your mindset when you are using the drug and the setting is the environment that you are physically in. it also gives good suggestions on how to maximize your high from marijuana.

this book is good to read if you are a marijuana user. the reason that i read this was for a college class and it was somewhat helpful. another aspect of the book that may be interesting is the Dr. Weil executes many different experiments with a few different kind of drugs, including use by himself. that gives the evidence and suggestions for drug use and different affects from the set and setting. another great aspect of the book is that he explains different misconceptions that people have about drugs, basically peoples assumptions that they have. overall, the book is very informative.
