Not worth the savings

I purchased two items from this company. At first I thought they were great. I bought a stove over the phone and a microwave over the internet. They credited my account for a coupon that I was unable to use because of the two separate purchases. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. I was told I could choose when to have my stove delivered (I wanted two weeks in the future). It was delivered in two days instead. On the other hand, I had to wait 3 weeks for the microwave with no email saying it was backordered, their website wasn’t updated to reflect it was backordered or eventually shipped, and when it says it was delivered – I wasn’t even home to receive the package much less sign for anything. The company basically says I’m out of luck and must deal with UPS even though had they sent me an updated status saying it was going to be delivered, I could have had someone wait for it instead of letting it get stolen. Home Everything did not respond to my email, I had to wait an excessively long time for customer service to answer the phone and for all of Passover they were completely unreachable. I will not be doing business with this company again. It is worth it to pay the extra couple of bucks to a more reliable company.
