I've been buying photography equipment at Adorama for at least 10 years now. Their service is fast (I can usually get my stuff in 3-4 days, UPS). I would say that their prices are not necessarily rock bottom, however, they are lower than retail and I trust that I'll get what I ordered. Other mail order houses will substitute gray market goods (not legal to sell in the US)...that's how they can sell for less. Adorama is honest about what they sell. I always request US warranty and have never been disappointed. The items arrive "factory new" (doesn't look like a "customer return").
Also, I buy lots of film from Adorama and it arrives fresh! I always request USA film, but they will sell gray (but they are honest about it).
Overall, I have bought from other camera places which will substitute used or gray goods and will advertise them as "new". I always return to Adorama because they always send what I asked for...new, USA warranty!
