.....when I was in Germany in the late '70's. It certainly gave me an eerie feeling. Excellent essay, Audrey.

My great-grandfather came over from Germany as a boy, and my grandfather instilled in me an interest in German history. I found your account very interesting indeed! Thanks for taking the time to share this....
