Good price advertized but can't buy the product.

I researched a laptop very thoroughly over the internet. I decided to buy it from eCost- their price was by far the best. Their "In-stock" notifier said yes, it was in stock. I went through the checkout process just fine, and a guy even called to confirm addresses and everything (since my shipping and billing address were different). Got the confirmation email. The next day I still hadn't seen a shipment notice, which was weird since I bought 2-day shipping and ordered at like 10 in the morning. I called them up to find out that they were out of stock on the item. The website even says "In-stock!" at the time of this writing. Apparently, they had cancelled it yesterday without telling me, and I just happened to walk into finding out it was cancelled instead of waiting a week to get it. They also have no expected arrival date for the product... don't waste your time here. If they have a good price on something, you might be able to call them up to confirm it, but the website itself is very misleading. They were not willing to issue a raincheck either, as the price has *already* gone up from when I placed the order by over $200. I feel like I'm going to be shafted for the extra money when I try to place the order again, and I need it sooner than they can get it to me- so they lost a sale on this one, and I will be cautioning everyone to stay away from this website.
