J. Crew Online: A Great Way to Shop

I just purchased some Christmas presents for next year using J.Crew.com. I know it sounds ridiculous, especially since I will be moving in a couple of months. Do I want to lug those packages with me? Can I afford to do this now? The J.Crew quality, in addition to some incredible values at J.Crew.com, has motivated me to begin shopping early!
This easy to use website is divided into Men, Women , Kids and Shoes in terms of departments to shop in. Once you click onto the department you are interested in, you will see numerous categories such as pants, skirts, dresses, outerwear, bath and body, intimates…..You will easily be able to locate the type of item you are interested in shopping for.
When you click onto Sleepwear, for example, you will then break down into the various items in this category: slipper, flannel, woven knit, plush, favorite tee. The main category headings are always available on the screen so that you may move in and out of different departments quickly.
The thumbnail photographs of each item will be quite easy to see in terms of detail and color. Clicking on the thumbnail print will enlarge the photo, describe the item and give you a selection to choose from in terms of size and color. The website uses black and gray lettering. The contrast of the two colors allows you to clearly see which categories have or have not been looked at.
I especially like the feature where you are able to change the color of the featured garment by simply clicking on a color swatch. This changes the garment to that color. This really makes a difference. Those small color swatches are meaningless unless you see the entire item in that color. For me, this has either convinced me to make a purchase, or completely changed my mind about making the purchase. With J.Crew.com, you will be certain of what you will receive in the mail.
J.Crew offers regular, petite and large sizes to really fairly cover all types of people. Sizes can range from XS to XL or 2-14. There are sizing charts available to help you to make the decision on the size that is right for you.
Jcrew uses colors that are pleasing to the eye. Many of its colors are natural earth tones or “heathered” pastels. You will find a wide variety of sweaters, tees, outerwear and even soft feminine dresses. Casual and dress pants can be a bit expensive, but perhaps they will go on sale. The Men’s clothing is also of that rugged outdoorsy sweater and heavy tee shirt type. Think of Land’s End with more style.
I just received a beautiful wool sweater in the mail today. The color was the green heathered look of a tweeded green/gray color. This is just what the picture had led me to believe this shirt would look like. This website is very accurate in helping you to get what you see! Not to mention the originally priced $42 sweater was reduced to $26.99.
For anyone interested in making a purchase from Jcrew.com, especially now while their Clearance Sale is going on, I advise you to visit the website, dailyedeals.com. Look under Online Coupons. Go to Jcrew.com. You will find an abundance of codewords to use in the final steps of your Jcrew ordering process. The best coupon I have used offers free shipping. I made three different purchases using the free shipping coupon. It is very encouraging to order a $14.99 sweater from such a high quality company and actually pay that much when all is said and done. No shipping (use the coupon) or tax (I live in NY).
Speaking of ordering, the process is quick and easy. If you've ordered before, just login and then you will be able to use "express" order. All of your previously entered information concerning billing to and shipping to will appear on screen without having to retype it.
If you give your email address to Jcrew, you will receive sales news weekly. I do not mind this at all. It has alerted me to the wonderful bargains available at this time.
When your package arrives, you will find it of high quality and sealed in plastic. And, you won’t have to wait very long to receive it. I ordered an item on December 22 and received it the 28th. Priority Mail was used and the heavy priority mail bag kept it sealed.
Jcrew has a very helpful customer service office. When pants I purchased 1 year ago seemed to be pilling, they sent me a shipping sticker to send it back for credit. I do not, however, experience this sort of problem with their merchandise.
I advise you to hurry up and give one of Jcrew’s garments a try. If you are interested in this wonderful clearance sale, hurry up, the sweater I ordered last week is now sold out.
