I've lived in Texas for about five years (and loved it) and I think Texas and the people that live there are a species all onto itself. Great Idea for another essay...(just kidding)

I thought about using "davenport", but I wasn't truly certain if that's southern or just something older people say. Thanks for helping me out, I'll change it right away.

So funny I was born and raised in the north but learned to love Texas. They have a different lingo here but it is becoming uptown with more northerners moving down south. I live between the three big cities of Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Austin/San Antonio so we are more modern. West Texas is something else but love it here.
