"Nice???"

You really should not waste your time arguing with someone who actually knows what he is talking about.

Is there any subject on which you are not an expert?

I don't suppose it's ever occurred to you that some people may legitimately not agree with you. No... not possible. All disagreement is founded on ignorance.

Your comments are full of arrogant put-downs: accusing people of not knowing what they are talking about, or mouthing "platitudes" when they say things you either don't agree with or don't understand. And you're the master of self-puffery, usually at someone else's expense. Not exactly "nice" behavior.

If you really want to express a differing opinion or defend your position, you can do it in ways that don't involve personal attacks. Not quite as much fun as kicking up a fight, but much more effective.

Oh... and before you ding people for stupid little things like spelling errors, you might run your own masterpieces through spell-check...

My poetry had nothing to do with my being persecuted Smorg. It was just about my feelings. Does it bother you to read someone feelings? No one forced you to do so.

So someone can call my friend and me names and when I lash out, I'm the one that needs counseling. Interesting concept.

I see how it is. You are too good to give an apology when one is due.

Okay.

Always Give an Apology When an Apology is Due.

An apology as a quid pro quo.... A very interesting concept, MZ. Pretty much takes all the penitence out of the whole idea, reducing it to nothing more than a political maneuver, which I can see clear enough that this gesture of yours is nothing but that.

Don't think that I don't know what hideous things Pinn has done out of the public eyes... And don't think that I'm the only one who knows either. If anyone here has been under pressure to modify their behavior, it's you two. WoT's been eroding much? Others are onto you now. What is the reasonable conclusion? Everyone else are the problem or, oh dear, could you two be the problem?

If this WilliamPinn is any friend to you, MZ, he would advice you to take a break from Epinions and get some good counseling. Your recent behavior is alarmingly unhinged.

You've posted how many cryptic 'I'm so prosecuted by others' poems in the last few days now? As if you haven't been the one to go around attacking anyone who doesn't toe your revered Pinn's line. ...And then you went and trusted yourself...

I don't know what happened to you during your 'summer break', but get help as soon as possible. Manic-depressive disorder is treatable, tho I wonder if that isn't the only thing you're suffering from.

I'm resetting my account now. You two and the other trolls on my Block List are no longer be visible to me.

Cheers,

Hiya Vic,
No kidding, bro! I hadn't heard that in Italian before, tho. Might be indulging in the same kind of thing myself soon... I'm going to try to write up a Wagner opera. Been depleting the local Starbuck's supply of coffee bean trying to know more about his work, but they're so long-winded I get bored after the first act or so.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by. Hope things are going well your way!

Cheers,
Smorgy :o)

Even with factual, informative pieces like this. Go figure...There's another expression from the Italian that you should translate for your critic and his clone: "Piu' le teste son vuote, piu' fanno rumore". I think this old expression describes them to perfection!

...I am apologizing for revenge rating.

I am not aplogizing for standing up for the good name of my friend, WILLIAMPINN. He is entitled to his feelings and opinions and he will always have my moral support in matters such as these.

That is just another simple Truth.

Sincerely,

I do hope you can find it in your heart to offer my friend the apology he deserves.

I think I deserve one, too.

Sincerely yours,

I appreciate the olive branch, MZ... Though I don't consider revenge-rating and harassment of not only me but anyone who called you and Pinn out on such practice to be honorable ways of 'disagreeing'.

I believe both of you owe quite a few people an apology... at the places where you attacked them. Dusty, Millinocket, Virtuelle2, Lammet, Shmoo1, rkingfish, Don Krider... all deserved better.... And there is yet another member (at least), who deserves more than an apology from Pinn in particular.

Cheers,
Smorg

Well, seeing that I just referred to this article for a musical term that I wanted to use correctly, I have decided to upgrade my rating.

I also thank you kindly for removing certain comments about my friend, WP, and I from your Epinions profile.

I hope we can all agree to disagree in the future whenever necessary, or at the very least, just move forward and be honest with each other, without harboring any grudges. I will not hold anything against you, and, as everyone in this world is, you are free to do as you please.

I am truly sorry abuot offending people in this situation. I just was looking to do what I felt was right. No jabs or two ways about it.

I am handing you this olive branch, Smorg. You may do with it as you please.

Very Sincerely,

Milena Zepeda

Hiya George,
Thanks for stopping by, bro!

Oh, and that piano forte... the undecided noise-maker, as some smart alecky pianists call it. Can't decide whether to be loud or to be quiet, and so play the thing and be both! ;o)

Hope the week has started well your way!

Thanks for stopping by, mates!

Hey Vasilis! I'm afraid your little joke went right over a troll's head, bro... Pity, I actually thought he was taller.

No matter, tho. The rest of us sane folks have no trouble getting it. After all, nobody else needed to have the simple English word unison explained to them, nor missed that "a gradual increase in volume. Marked on the score as '<' above the measure that the crescendo is to take effect" is a definition for the musical term crescendo either. ;o)

Now, now, Margaret! What have the rocks done to offend you so much that you'd wish to inflict Pinn's foul mouth upon one, matie? ;o) I'm jealous that you got to sing Va pensiero in performances, tho. Good going! :o)

And Don & Karen! Getting 'kudos!' from you two who know music really means a lot to me. Thanks a bunch! I'd have liked to cover messa di voce, triplet runs, float, appoggiatura, and coloratura as well, but they don't happen in this chorus. Maybe next time!

Thanks very much again for stopping by and hope your weekend was a good one!

Cheers,
Smorgy :o)

You certainly are entitled to your epinion, Don, as am I, as I am sure you are well aware. I don't care to argue with you. I respect your thoughts on the issue but I do feel the need to agree to disagree with you about the quality of this review. I won't be trying to prove you wrong for feeling the way you do. I hope you will be able to show me the same courtesy.

Good Day, Don! :)

I've done a LOT of singing in my life - I'm now in my 48th season - but haven't done much opera, except for a few concerts of Great Choruses. Of which this is most definitely one. I had the music going through my brain as I read, and your comments are very illuminating. Hooray for you, and Mr. Pitt can go suck a rock.

Lammet, the word you are looking for is "bravissimo," unless you think smorg's lesson is very loud! LOL!

"Bravissimo" is not a musical term (and neither is "unison"). You shot yourself in the foot again Pinn. Take my advice and withdraw to your own reviews and your own lot. To this one, with every line you write you expose yourself anew.

There's nothing wrong with this review. I don't understand some of the negative comments here, but in my opinion this review is very helpful and informative. I'll argue that with anyone who wants to argue with me on that point.

You rock, Smorgy!
