I've had my Dell Dimension 8100 for over six months now and it's great.
I've had no hardware problems with this computer at all so far.
This computer features lots of slots and ports, including a built-in fast Ethernet card.
I have installed 2 old Hard Drives in this computer and it handles them with ease. I have also installed a second video card so that it can support two monitors. (see my monitor reviews:)

This unit uses RDRAM or RAMBUS Ram and that makes it quite fast. This RAM is also more expensive for that reason.
I have found that the DELL tech support is quite BAD. I have found much better support for free online on the USENET for Microsoft products or at DSLReports.com. Most of the support I got at DELL was just plain WRONG. They told me that I couldn't install extra Hard Drives, for example, and other ridiculous things.
I find this computer to be very fast, with its Intel Pentium 4 1.5 GHz microprocessor and its 768 MB of RDRAM at 800 MHz.

This computer is easy to open up and maintain. It is well-designed and roomy inside. Other computers can be cramped, hot and hard to work inside.
I got this computer with my first CD-RW drive and have burned nearly 200 CDs with it. Works great.
I would recommend this computer to anyone.
I purchased this computer online from DELL from their refurbished computers, for a discounted price. I would recommend checking the refurbs if you want to save some money. They call this the Dell Factory Outlet online.
