I did a lot of my Christmas shopping online this year and one of the stores I purchased from was Bed, Bath, & Beyond.
I live in a city where there is an actual store front and even went to the location once during the Holiday season.
I had originally started to shop around online just to check out prices and selection in order to save time when hitting the streets to actually make my purchases. I really did not want to pay any shipping charges or have to worry about if my purchases would arrive on time, etc...
When shopping around online, I found the BB&B site very easy to use. The site was not the fastest in the world, but not slow enough to be annoying or having to wait...
You can look at the weekly adds at the site, there is a shopping cart, wish list, and very good product descriptions available. There is also a special product featured.
I found the product search to be helpful including the different categories there are to select from.
The selection was very good along with the prices. After I had found what I wanted to purchases; I headed off to the actual store. When I arrived; I discovered the actual store did not have some of the products I found online. The prices were pretty much the same, but quantities locally were limited.
I went home and placed my online order within a matter of minutes. I was able to purchase the products I wanted and they were all in stock.
The products arrived within the week. They were packaged nicely and nothing was damaged. I received an email confirmation of my orders including a tracking number which is very helpful.
I also had some gifts sent directly to the recipients. There is gift wrapping available for a fee depending on the product. Everyone received their gifts the same week I placed the order. There were no complaints or problems.
The shipping cost was very reasonable. There was no free shipping offered which was a bit of a disappointment, but the fees were acceptable; they of course depend on how much you order.
I would and actually have already ordered again from BB&B! They had some really good sale prices after Christmas on their decorations, etc...
