Lincoln Center is an excellent suggestion that I would have to mix in with a night at Broadway theatre.
My wife and I were privy to see a number of shows in all three buildings.

But I sure miss the NYC Ballet and the Met. An evening at Lincoln Center would be at the top of my list!

Mark I skipped you somehow. Two things. It looks like we are not goin' your way next month. Change in plans because I happen to have a heavy work schedule. A busier October than usual. I guess I can't complain.
Yes about the Circle Line. They have many options for cruises around Manhattan.
I do hope to make it your way some day.

Great suggestion.
The Cloisters are a wonderful stop as part of the museum tours and the views over the Hudson are incredible.
Been there a couple of times. Love the place.

Great advice here! And you're reminding me that I really need to do more Big Apple trips.
BTW: That recommendation to do the trip around Manhattan by water reminded that there used to be a great excursion on Circle Line....wonder if they still do their trips.

I thought sure you'd tell people to get a street dog, but I'd bet most tourists will do that anyway.
Fixed this sentence for you:
You can always tell who out-of-towners are because they are...
... there.
