FRAUD... stole my credit card information and placed unauthorized charges. Read the whole review.... The company offered me a coupon for a previous botched order and gave me a hard time about honoring it. I finally got an order placed for 2010 Valentine's Day and had the coupon applied. The company ended up not fulfilling the order and when I called the day before Valentines day to find out what was going on they aggressively tried to sell me a more expensive arrangement. I asked them 3 times to cancel my order(s) and I was argued with every time. I asked on 3 separate occasions to close my account. I was on the phone arguing for 45 minutes and had to remind the representative I was at work. I was given no respect. The representative then stole my credit card information from the previous orders after I asked her to cancel them. She did not cancel any orders and then used my credit card information to place additional unauthorized orders and and related fraudulent charges on my card. The representative I spoke to was "Vindicia." Good luck if you too ever have to cancel an order (because you discover its not being honored and won't be delivered on time). Good luck trying to close your account. These non english speaking reps are packed like sardines into boiler rooms and must be trying to meet aggressive commission based sales quotas. Going on 3 months disputing this with my credit card company and 800flowers.com is still giving push back. Judging by the explosion of online complaints in 2010 with this company, its high time Jim McCann and his pack of cronies be investigated by their state's attorney general and the FBI. Who the hell does this company think they are? How many hundreds of thousands of people have been defrauded out of millions of dollars from 800flowers.com? Any attorneys out there? You could make a killing on a class action with these shysters.
