Set-up: A UFO crashes on the outskirts of town and from the wreckage, a space age Astro Zombie emerges and begins a campaign of murder, and intimidation in the sleepy city. Hook: A mysterious woman calls El Santo and reveals that the homeless zombie sleeps in an abandoned car on highway 50. Resolution: El Santo heads for a showdown to kill the zombie and the mysterious woman turns out to be a jilted lover who shows up to mourn the zombie's death. OPENING A UFO crashes on a mountainside. A space-traveling zombie emerges from the wreckage and makes his way down the mountain and into town. INCITING INCIDENT A violent home invasion where the zombie kills a young boy, and his mother. BY PAGE 10 U KNOW WHAT THE MOVIE IS ABOUT After leaving the murder, he is picked up hitchhiking by a lonely woman who takes the zombie home. FIRST TURNING POINT AT END OF ACT ONE After their sexual encounter, she takes the zombie to the abandoned car where he sleeps at night. MID POINT SECOND TURNING POINT AT END OF ACT 2 – CRISIS The woman calls the Mexican wrestler El Santo and tells him where to find the zombie. CLIMAX El Santo arrives at the abandoned car, but the zombie is gone. RESOLUTION The zombie is waiting in a field. El Santo charges the zombie but finds that the zombie has a handgun. El Santo disarms and kills the zombie in a wrestling match. El Santo leaves, and the lonely woman shows up to mourn the zombie's death.  |
