list. i'm kinda surprised you haven't been e-murdered yet for not including KRS or Rakim here, hah.
personally, i'd put Jay-Z ahead of Nas and Em (i've heard next to nothing from Canibus so i can't comment.) props for the consistent ratings though, even though i'd put the BPs (personal favorites) higher. still, Vol. 3's one of my favorites of his, and Vol. 2 and Dynasty got plenty of hot ish too. he's mad consistent, i like all of his albums except for Vol. 1 and KC and this new one's already soundin' good.
props for 'Ye too. if he keeps it up he'll be at or above a Hov level of prolific consistency.
Em, there was this period where i was a huge stan -- blame it on this "oh he's the only big white rapper so it'd be cool if he was really that good" type mentality, hah. i kinda was tryin' to convince myself to overlook definite flaws in even his great albums (MMLP and TES.) his recent output though, combined with even his best albums having some room for improvement, i wouldn't put him that high. he's kinda proof of the "superior rappers don't always make the better albums" rule. although SSLP through TES is all quality -- as for Infinite all i've heard from it is just really generic.
and dude...where's Weezy F. Best Rapper Alive...nah jez playin' haha.

Solid list, but I don't see how Kanye is even near the top ONE HUNDRED rappers. I'm one of the biggest Canibus fans there is, but I'd probably put him in my top 5. Props for having him on though. Nasir is my #1 pick...but either way man, looking good. I especially like the plug for yourself haha.

Hmmm.....very intresting! Some people would strongly disagree with the fact that you put method man and kanye west in your top 10. Even though I disagree with meth and kanye being in the top 10, I do think that they are better than what most people give credit for. Kanye is arguably the most consistant rapper in the game at the moment and meth is said to be VERY impressive on "8 Diagrams".
I haven't heard enough of Canibus to form a judgement about him (I gotta cop his albums at some point!) but I give you props for putting Common on your top ten coz the dude is hip hop's Mr. consistancy!
