I think the only flaws (if any) that are evident in the PS2 are few. I think the biggest deterent is the size and look. It's fairly bulky, and just plain ugly.
The biggest drawback is/was the lack of quality titles for the first year. Now the first year is come and gone; the titles are superior to nearly everything on the market.
Finally, although the PS controllers are probably the most succesful controller ever; it is a bit antiquated and could use an overhaul...
