Pros: sometimes actually works.
Cons: terrible computer - most of the time it's broken.
The Bottom Line: This computer was lousy. Spent half the time waiting to get fixed. Choose another brand. You'll be much happier if you do!

| molecule's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 7000 A400LT |
I've had laptops before at various jobs, and have generally been happy with them. Once I had a Toshiba laptop that I loved. No matter what I did with my Toshiba it worked - wind, snow, sleet, rain, that Toshiba was like a dog in the arctic - always there whenever there was work to be done.
Well, I've had this Dell Inspirion 7500 for almost a year and it's spent about 25% of that time broken. People say that Dell's customer service has gotten better - and it has - but that's because most people need to deal with it so often!
Dell has shipped me parts quickly and free of charge, but a good working laptop shoudln't need new parts every 2 months!
Needless to say, the Dell people are never going to get my laptop business again.
I was so happy with my Toshiba, that I will make my next laptop a Toshiba.
I've heard a lot of people say that Dell has a horrible reputation for laptops - I wish I'd known before I bought this one.
Be smart! - Avoid Dell Laptops.
