The Bottom Line You know, I think I'm going To Block You For Trusting Him/Her! Bwhahahaha!
Perhaps keeping my WOT invisible to you all would help my situation....you see I've noticed a huge dip in my WOT.
I've read on epinions that some will block others based on their WOT...however I always felt that I had nothing to hide. If you don't like someone whom I associate with, or you don't like someone who is on my WOT that is your problem right?
Wrong.
I cannot 100% guarantee that my drop has anything to do with whom I associate with, but I can say that I have never received a larger drop in my entire epinions career since.
Am I not allowed to trust someone you dislike? Am I not allowed to have their names on this list they call a web of trust?
If someone I trust has an issue with another member or a group of other members, then that situation should be between those members. Some of us though, we will remove, or even block those who have the 'so called bad member' on their WOT.
Why? Do you have a good reason?
Perhaps you think I am a bad, bad, bad person for trusting someone you don't like. It seems like such a dumb reason to remove someone though. A really dumb reason actually.
I knew that I should have made my WOT invisible, but seeing how many of you deleted me, it actually helped me figure out which members I couldn't trust; those who pass judgment on me based on my WOT. I find that to be completely ridiculous, childish, and it helped me weed out whom needed to be removed from my WOT.
I know that removing those who removed me is simply a childish move on my part, and I have succumbed to your level. However, I do not want someone on my WOT who will so casually remove me based on a disagreement they have had with someone on my WOT.
I am allowed to think for myself you know. Because I have not agreed with the masses, and because those names remain on my WOT, I take the lashing they so think I deserve.
I can guarantee that each of you reading this has a name on your WOT that I do not get along with. I will though, allow you to think for yourself. I will allow you to choose whomever you want to choose to add to your WOT. I will not pass judgment on you based on a list with a name. That would be like blocking/removing you for writing a praising review on a product that I thought sucked.
Just because I have a problem with someone, does not mean you must too. Just because you have a problem with someone, does not mean that I have to as well.
I know chitter chatter travels quickly through the grapevine, and I am sure my name has come up. Do with it what you will.
