No h8 but I don't know what are you listening to, those verses have some essential lines and in fact they bring those great songs to even higher level.

I know you didn't mean to diss him but that criticism about slim's view about sothern rap and Jay-z was quite harsh. I thought that this was a good read even if I disagree with some of the rating (Hip Hop Is Dead would be No.1 in my list! Then again I haven't brought American Gangster yet...)

I really don't like southern rap, especially stuff like Young Jeezy, Young Joc, ect., and I guess it just comes out in my writing. As for Jay Z, I don't hate him, I just think he could be much better, and also that he has ruined a lot of Kanye's best songs (especially Never Let Me Down and Diamonds from Sierre Leone.)

Yeah, I should have waited a little longer to write this list, but I started it about a month ago, when it seemed too long to wait for 2008. I deleted the Justin Timberlake comment, sorry if I offended anyone.

The list was good, although I definitely disagree with some of the rankings, I'm a little surprised you just didn't wait another month and a half to drop a Best of 2007 list. As for the Justin Timberlake comment, that won't be too well-recieved - I recommend you change it or just delete it. And Canibus' album is very solid, true, but it is not the best album of the last year imo. Still, that's just what I think...
