The Bottom Line Endless quiet

I long for the long sleep
Endless quiet
Lightless night
Future passed
on to the past
On, too, the past
Daily deceptions
Honorless exceptions
The shadows of good
Exposed by the wind
Shine the flickers of evil
The trust a bust
Bloodlust a must
But for the Queen mum
And my little royals
I would sleep the long sleep
And quiet the night
