I recently ordered nine sets of Hunter Douglas 2" Chalet wood blinds - enough for my entire house - and I'm very pleased with the quality of the blinds as well as the ease of conducting business with Blinds.com. Here are some specific areas I want to comment on:
1. The website is very easy to navigate, especially if you are a DIY person like myself. There are tools to help you narrow down the selections based on your preferences and individual reviews of the specific blinds available.
2. The availability of sample chips was extremely helpful in making my decisions on color and style. This was especially important when trying to decide between manufacturers and faux wood versus real wood. Mixing and matching the tape samples with the wood samples was ideal in determining the perfect combination.
3. I received my full order of nine blinds eight working days after placing my order. In my opinion this was extremely fast considering the amount of blinds that I ordered. The estimated production time was six days for a single set of blinds.
4. The instructions on how to measure for and install the blinds was clear and easy to follow. The videos on both gave a great visual reference and written instructions are also provided.
5. The quality of the blinds themself are very high and I liked being able to get a brand name that I recognized. They have really upgraded the appearance of both the interior and exterior of my home.
6. I feel I received a great value for my money. Before ordering from Blinds.com I priced out a similar set at a major "big box" retailer to get a benchmark for comparison. The prices at Blinds.com are shockingly (in a very good way!) lower than the retailer and this enabled me to afford a higher quality blind and upgrades that I probably wouldn't have been able to otherwise.
I would definitely recommend Blinds.com to anyone I know, and will order from them again when I'm ready to replace my vertical blinds in the near future.
