Pros: Great pickup; Love seat warmers; Good gadgets; Excellent Service
Cons: Had to add remote entry and cd player; cramped backseat for adults
The Bottom Line: As Ferris Buehler would say "If you have the means, I would highly suggest picking one up."

This was a dream car for my husband. He had wanted a BMW convertible for a long time and we decided on this one because it had a backseat big enough for a carseat.
Although a carseat fits in the backseat, it was very difficult to drive with a rearfacing infant seat. When we switched the seat to forward facing, we had no problems.
The manual convertible top is relatively easy to put up and down.
BMW service is absolutely excellent. They fixed every little problem we saw before they delivered it to us. We have all of our oil changes and maintenance done at a BMW dealership (not even the one we bought it at) and they often do not even charge for fixing problems you would not ordinarily think are covered by the warranty. For example, the radio dial was difficult to turn. They replaced the ENTIRE radio for free!
This car was a great deal for a "fun" car. My insurance rate is as low as for my Honda CRV. We get "oohs" and "ahhs" anywhere we drive it. My husband claims he will never have anything other than a BMW again.
