find the same merchandise elsewhere & save yourself the trouble...

I ordered a number of things from NFLShop.com after my beloved New Orleans Saints won the SUPER BOWLLLL!!!! YAYYYY! Er, 'scuse me. Big deal to a long-suffering Saints fan (grin). Anyway, so right after the game, I was SO excited, I bought into the ad hype and visited NFLshop.com to get some things-- a "champions" t-shirt, a season DVD, a mini-helmet, etc.
I've got to say that I liked the shirt and the helmet, and they came in a reasonably timely manner. They were overpriced, but I suppose under the circumstances, I was willing to take the hit. Since then, however, I have been SPAMmed to death by them day in and day out, DESPITE telling them at order time I did not want to receive "special offers," and having tried to UNSUBSCRIBE THREE TIMES from their SPAM messages. I have just written customer service and told them the next step was to go to the League office and my local TV news "problem solver service" reporter. We'll see if that works. While I don't have a problem with the quality of the things I received, the follow-up aggressive marketing tactics aren't worth it, and I think you'd be better off finding the same or similar merchandise from a vendor that isn't this arrogant and unconcerned with customer privacy preferences from which to order. Or at least create an email account for your one order if you have to have something, then abandon or delete it immediately after you've received your stuff!
I will not order from nflshop.com again.
