Stay away, not worth the hassle

Footsmart messed up my order from the onset. Initially they claimed they did not have enough inventory on hand to fill my order in it's entirety and would not be restocking. When I checked back to their site, the product was not only still listed as available but had since been put on sale. I then noticed they tried to charge me more for this partial order than I would have paid for the full order. I complained and they did refunded the difference. The problems continued and continue. I never received any part of the order and they can not provide any shipping or tracking info. Now the order is considered lost in shipment and although they promised a refund in full the battle continues. They have posted a total of three separate refunds to my account but the total of these is less than half of the order total. I really do not understand why they have made several partial refunds. My emails to them now go unanswered so it is doubtful I ever will. I have filled a claim with paypal including all the emails they sent me with promises unfulfilled. I truly regret ever trying to do business with them and my best advice to anyone is to stay away. If I had taken the time to read some consumer reviews I would have found many stories almost exactly like my own. It seems to be their M O. There are just too many stories out there similar to my own for this to be a one time problem. Maybe they are having hard times during this economic downturn but business practices like this will not help one bit.
