The Bottom Line This is a great easy shrimp scampi recipe.
This is a recipe I created myself and it turns out delicious every time and it's very easy. You'll need about a pound of jumbo frozen fish. Italian bread crumbs Lots of butter Garlic, salt, paprika to taste First soak the shrimp in a bowl of warm water to defrost. Next, pull the tails off. It's much easier to eat it later without having to cut the tails off. While the shrimp is soaking, put together a mixture of breadrumbs. I like to stick it in a bowl, and pour garlic powder, Italian spices, garlic salt, paprika, and some grated cheese and mix it all up. Put about three tablespoons of butter on the bottom of a medium size bake pan. Heat the oven to 350. Once the shrimp is defrosted, wash and drain and then place neatly, try to spread them out in the pan. Add about three tablespoons more of butter. Then pour the bread crumbs mixture over the top of the shrimp. Put it in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. While that is baking, boil up some of your favorite pasta, drain, and add butter, parmesan cheese, and some garlic and leave it in a covered pot. When the shrimp is done, pour it over the pasta, and there you have a delicious, easy shrimp scampi. Cut up a cucumber on the side, and you have yourself a yummy meal.
