Carsdirect sounds good so far (Reply to this comment)

I just checked Carsdirect price for a new 2009 Toyota Corolla. Their price was $24 less than a local dealer's weekend loss leader ad in the paper, both of which were about $3,000 less than regularly advertised prices for the same model and trim. The good part is, I wont have to race down to the dealer to get "one of the three at this price" scams.
Carsdirect is going to get my business. Even an editor for Edmunds.com who went undercover as a car salesman mentioned how much Carsdirect was affecting the regular "front" sales force at the high volume-high pressure dealership he worked at. One service customer he spoke with bought a high demand SUV for $300 under invoice through Carsdirect and was thrilled to share this info with a regular salesman. I'm looking forward to doing the same.

with Bryan's schedule, it's highly dubious he used Carsdirect to buy a vehicle. Bryan writes a review at least once a day. he's written nearly 1,500 reviews. He probably hasn't used HALF of the stuff he's reviewed.
After all, it takes a lot of time to compose and edit and publish a review like this one.
And remember, that Bryan has a full-time job, a part-time job, and hobbies (according to his profile).
Yet he has time to purchase and use all of these products?
Highly, highly dubious.
This is why I don't read Bryan's reviews anymore. But I do check his page to see what he's reviewed from time to time.

Bryan - You do not say whether you have personally used this service. I place a high value on reviewers actually having used the product/service they write about. Your review is well written, but I must assume you did not actually use the service. If this is not the case, I suggest you add a line letting readers know this and let me know and I'll rerate.

Since I am in the market for a car, but don't know what I want. Once I decide, this could be an excellent for us. Although, there use to be a CarsDirect near us and it isn't there anymore. I don't know where it went.
