I have been using HP Laser Jet 1200 for more than one year and I am extremely happy with it. It prints with 10 pages per minute printing speed. The quality is professional with 600 dpi resolution (1200 dpi effective output). The print speed in black (no color printing available), normal quality is 10 ppm. The paper has never jammed. The printer has std. 250 sheets input capacity, 125-sheet output bin and 30 envelopes capacity. The maximum memory is 32 KB ROM, 1 MB RAM. The program installation is very easy and has an intuitive user interface. The printer is compatible with PC: Windows 98, Me, NT 2000, XP and Mac. The HP Laser Jet 1200 works very well in the network and has a simple set-up with USB cables. The HP Laser Jet 1200 has also a scanner. The quality resolution is the same as with printing but there is a color scanning available. With simple set-up programs and high-resolution products the HP Laser Jet 1200 printer is good for home as well as for office. There is one-year limited warranty on the printer. Toners for the HP Laser Jet 1200 printer cost approximately $70.You can send the empty toners to HP for recycling at no cost to you.
