Changing Hemispheres Again

The Bottom Line I've been AWOL, but I swear I had a really good reason.
An update for anyone who wondered what the heck happened to me. Well, first the school year ended in Korea. It was as painful as I anticipated. Adding to the separation anxiety, I had to clear out or pack up everything in my apartment so I could be on a plane immediately to go home for a short visit.
Following the short visit, we flew to Chile where we had more misadventures. One of those misadventures continues even now. We haven't been able to get our internet hooked up. (Dear God, I hope this isn't hooked up.) My husband thinks I am bootlegging someone else's wireless connection and it cuts out all too often for my sanity.
Of course, when I can get to a computer, it doesn't always mean my emails go out. I finally emailed my one friend who CAN get my emails consistently and asked her to email my poor mother who probably thinks my plane crashed into a mountain and my husband and I are considering which other passengers look tasty if we aren't dinner ourselves. (Yes, I watched and enjoyed Alive, but I didn't bring it with me.)
Internet hasn't been my biggest problem. We are cruising into winter, the apartment was uninhabited for 6 months and the heater is broken. Silly me, I put heat higher on the priority list than email, which may not work anyway.
Hopefully, all this will be sorted out soon and I will be able to get back in the saddle. I have a number of travel reviews I wrote en-route that I look forward to sharing, as well as a few last things I didn't get around to while in Korea and this area is ripe for exploration. But first, I must thaw out my feet.
