I shopped online to save time and shopping mall hassles in finding a Christmas gift for my daughter; a specifically requested gift. Hot topic online had the item, right color, right size. Item was delivered on time. Item was NOT what was on the invoice, not what I ordered - which was a size 1, received a size 16! Big disappointment, but thought we could handle the problem via telephone. Excellent customer service representation, but full details of return/exchange via mail were not disclosed and I ended up getting double billed. Reordered item in exchange for original item arrived as promised, after double billing error was rectified, but the replacement item was ALSO THE WRONG SIZE - this time a 3 was ordered as no size 1 was available and we received a size 15!!! This item was meant to be a Christmas gift and it wasn't until January 5th when we took both pairs of wrong size pants back to a store 25 miles away from our home (because no other stores in the area had a size 1 or 3 in stock!), that my daughter was actually the proud owner of the pants she so desperately wanted. Shopping online has never been as much of a nightmare as it was with this particular merchant. We will stick to going to the mall when it comes to this store.
