I was just staring open-mouthed at the screen in the final scene - it was so powerful it took my breath away. Pity it started out so slowly, but if it had been that intense all the way through I think it would have caused a few heart attacks!!

Great list! One of the better top 10 movie lists I've seen (definitely one of the most accurate). I agree that your description of Ladies in Lavender was spot-on and I can't wait to see Amazing Grace!
