If it's any comfort, looking back now at all the problems that seemed to get in the way of my now-wife and myself getting together, I'd certainly say that this story hasn't finished yet.

You never know how life is going to work out ....
When I first met the man who ended up becoming my husband, I was involved in a serious relationship. Still, we became friends. When my relationship eventually ended, HE was then engaged to be married to someone.
Eventually that engagement broke off. And we found each other again. By the time we had our first real date, we had been friends for over 5 years!
Anyway, in 3 days we will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and are quite happily married.
So, ya never know!
