The Bottom Line What the title says, a slight tribute to Joss Whedon's great series and film.

Wash’s Song

I’m an eagle watch me soar
Above the ground and into the great beyond
Above the dawning of ice and snow
Above the snow and frost assembling
You can never have my liberty
You can’t take my wings away
But the lady would stop and stare at me
Her almond eyes beckon
It’s time to leave the sky behind me
And soar into her welcoming night
Goodbye and goodnight my love
Watch me soar

The book is wrong(River’s query)

The pages of the book are wrong
Preacher man said they were as God meant it
But they hold no rational thought
If we could cut them out and begin anew
Perhaps we’d do better with the worlds
Perhaps our God would find us
Alone in this vast empty, serene sky
Praying for his return

Jaynestown

There are no heroes
Just icons of fools like us
For people to project their hopes on
Perhaps that’s what the worlds need
Perhaps fools are all we can hope to be
But our hearts are brave as lions
