Artistically you'll either love or hate her, but there's no denying Kasarova's rank among the greats of opera. She is unique and unforgettable.

Hiya Regina,
Thanks a bunch, matie! :o) Frau Kasarova is a very special singing actress indeed. No matter how many time I've heard a piece of music before, she can still always make it sound fresh and spontaneous... as if it's a new idea popping into her head right then and there. Hypnotizingly uncanny indeed!

Hope you're getting to hear lots of good music yourself and hope summer is going well your way!

Cheerio,
Smorgy :o)

Privet Arashi!

'Mind if I translate this essay of yours into Russian for some non-English-speaking folks?'

No objection from me, matie, if you think it'll go over well. ;o) I'm afraid I overindulged somewhat... but Frau K does that for me. Can't help raving on about her stage ways every now and then (ok, ok... a bit more often than that in our case). ;oP

Thanks for stopping by and kind words, too!

Ciao,
Smorgy :o)

Love thee, o Smorg the Enthusiast! Love Frau Kasarova, may God bless her with long-long years of happiness and operatic success! Love her tutor, Prof. Koleva, for bringing this talent to us! Love Mozart and Rossini for their incredible music!
